VISION

The Vision of Unity Dance Studios is to provide an uplifting dance community where a Christ-centered perspective, hard work, and generous encouragement guide students toward their full potential as artists and individuals.

Mission

The Mission of Unity Dance Studios is to develop Christian artists by employing a holistic approach to dance education which includes training their bodies, equipping their minds, and nurturing their spirits. These disciplines foster a community of artists that reveal the character of God through theatrical productions.

The Body.

The unique curriculum of Unity Dance Studios encourages dancers to both strengthen their technical abilities and develop artistry, which translates to a compelling stage presence. Our curriculum includes a foundation of classical ballet and modern techniques with a focus on worship and storytelling.

The Mind.

Biblical truths, promoted within the classroom, provide our students with clarity of mind and perspective as they approach their dance training. Foundational to Unity’s pedagogy is a view of each student as an image-bearer of God and we aim to guide students toward a view of themselves and their classmates as inherently valuable and worthy of love based on this truth. This teaching style frees and fuels students’ minds to create art that reflects the Original Artist.

The Spirit.

We seek to help our students use dance and performance as an expression of worship that encourages others and strengthens their personal relationship with God. Our teachers are committed to providing an environment where technical excellence is encouraged and passions are pursued.

Providing classes for all ages and levels, Unity Dance Studios focuses on a systematic progression of technique and a holistic approach of promoting self-worth. Our curriculum focuses on ballet as well as contemporary dance styles. Other styles Unity offers include jazz, tap, hip hop, pointe, modern, acro dance, and more. A differentiation is made between recreational dance classes and the pre-professional company track. This differentiation gives students the choice to take recreational classes or prepare to audition for Junior and Senior Company.
